Behind every life changed by Northbound’s work are the “Hidden Heroes”—local caregivers, teachers, nurses, and social workers who serve their communities daily, often on minimal pay.
The Support a Hero Fund helps provide them with stable income, allowing them to continue their vital work with dignity. Supporting these workers means investing in the people who quietly drive lasting change.
Northbound Foundation uses the power of sport, specifically soccer, to bring hope and lasting change to communities facing poverty. With local partners, we bring coaching, team building and leadership skills to all ages. We create safe, structured spaces where children can play and develop skills that will serve them on and off the field. These teams and fields serve as community hubs that foster connection, confidence, and empowerment, especially for girls and women.
